you know how we usually meet some good and bad
taxi drivers in kl. maybe some of them don't
even bother talking to you cos you're local.
i've never took taxis in kl. cos i have my own
transportation. plus, if you noticed how they
drive, it's a big no no.
it's a different story if you're not local. i
take taxis here. if it's near, i walk. if it's
not, i take a cab.
so far, i found the taxi drivers here very nice.
until yesterday. wanted to eat mcD's so much but
i didn't know the nearest branch around my area.
so i stopped a cab and asked the driver if he
knows where the nearest mcD is at. he nodded and
off we went. then he started rounding and found
only kfc instead of mcd. so i said, i thought you
knew?
he replied, "kfc cannot meh?" i was like wtf. if
you don't know then you shouldn't have said yes.
oh ya, my friend was in the cab as well. and he
requested to stop since he's just wasting our time.
he didn't charge us for the ride. lucky him. cos
once you're in the cab, it costs rmb10 regardless
of how near or far you're going.
so we stopped another cab and this one is really
good. even called his friends to make sure of
mr.mcD's location. good attitude.
it felt so good after that spicy mcchicken fillet.
haha. then we got home. and prepared ourselves to
see a friend's hip-hop battle. guess what?
history repeats itself.
we took cab twice. the same scenario. the first
taxi driver cheated our 10 rmbees. babi. told us
the building is just right after a turn. and it
wasn't! took another cab and he brought us
straight to the main entrance. luckily, it didn't
happen on our way home.
coincidence? first time bad, second time good.
great experience. and one of the good taxi drivers
actually thought we're from korea and japan. haha!
